Mrs. Diane Bridgewater received her MBA from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1991 and a BS degree from Michigan State University in 1979. She has been an instructor at the University of Alabama since 2009. Mrs. Bridgewater started her career as a clinical dietitian, working at 2 hospitals in Birmingham. She then transitioned into the food service management and was a food service director for 10 years before joining the University of Alabama as an instructor. Mrs. Bridgewater taught Food and Nutrition classes and Hospitality classes on campus for 4 years. She then began teaching Food and Nutrition classes Online exclusively. Mrs. Bridgewater is also an advisor for the Food and Nutrition Distance students. Mrs. Bridgewater has been active in the Alabama Dietetic Association as the Secretary Treasurer from 2014-2016 and President from 2017-2018.
